Blue is a handsome 11 year old male Quaker Parrot available for adoption. Blue is a very social bird and he knows "step up". He has shown off some of his mimicry skills with the staff, saying "step up", "good girl", and "good boy". He loves his vegetables in the morning and enjoys foraging toys with walnuts as the foraging reward.
Blue is in need of a loving forever home and would do well in a household that has experience with parrots. Interested candidates MUST submit an application that includes a short video of their living space. The minimum cage size for this bird would be 25’’ long, 21’’ wide and 29’’ high with ½’’ wire spacing. Applicants MUST live within driving distance of our location in Arlington Heights, IL.
