Parrot DNA Testing

Many species of parrots are not sexually dimorphic, so males and females look identical! Find out the sex of your bird through our DNA testing services. Our tests are sent out and conducted in a fully functional laboraty, so you can have the utmost confidence in the results you receive.

You will need to bring your parrot in to our store in Arlington Heights, Illinois so we can retrieve a small blood sample from the bird's toenail. We only take a couple of drops, so your bird will be ready to go as soon as we have what we need. Results typically take a couple of weeks to get back to us. We will notify you with the results as soon as we have them!
