Power Treats are certified organic treats for all pet birds that may be used as the only food source to aid in weaning, changing a bird’s diet from seeds to Harrison’s Bird Foods, or as a supplement for birds already fed Harrison’s Bird Foods that need extra energy following an illness, feeding young, flying, or for enrichment.

Storage and Shelf Life
Harrison's is committed to protecting your bird from artificial preservatives. Here are some suggestions to keep your food fresh without preservatives:

• Squeeze all of the air out of the bag and zip it shut at the top.
• If the zip lock gets removed or damaged, fold the top over several times and close it with a clip.
• Keep food in its original bag. Do not repackage into plastic bags or containers.
• Use contents within 8 weeks of opening the bag.
• Refrigeration or freezing after opening may help maintain freshness.
  

Average Daily Amounts to Feed
Small Birds: Do not exceed 1/8 to 1.5 piece(s) per day
Medium Birds: Do not exceed 3 pieces per day
Large Birds: Do not exceed 9 pieces per day

Other Foods
Do not offer vitamins unless directed by your avian veterinarian. Do not use other formulated diets in conjunction with Harrison's or you could reduce the benefits. Harrison's ingredients are not processed in a manner that destroys naturally occurring seasonal characteristics. Variations in color, texture, and nugget size may result and are normal.
