About: Blessing's Lory Nectar Gourmet Blend (2 lbs)
Blessing’s Lory Nectar represents decades of nutritional research and has been specifically formulated to provide a balanced diet to maintain optimal health for all brush-tongued and nectivorous Psittaculidae species within the subfamily Loriinae (lories and lorikeets). As formulated, it is low in iron and fortified with the calcium, vitamins, and minerals required to support all life stages of lories and lorikeets.
At Lory Food Products, we use human-grade ingredients to include Soy Protein Isolate (90% protein) which is superior in its protein levels, palatability, and bio-availability of essential amino acids when compared to cheaper pea proteins with more iron. To remain in alignment with the mission of Lory Food Products, all ingredients are ecologically and responsibly sourced to minimize our carbon footprint; therefore, we do not use coconut palm sugar which adds no measurable nutritional benefits over our formula and only changes the food color.
