The Prevue Pet Products Mimic Me Voice-Recording Unit #62900 helps bird keepers teach their parrots new words and phrases, in their own true voices. Recording and playing back words and phrases in your own voice will help teach your bird to mimic, or talk. Birds are social creatures and desire the opportunity to interact. Speaking birds already mimic sounds they hear regularly; the more language they are exposed to, the more they will learn to talk. Mimic Me has been engineered for high-quality sound and is very easy to use, assisting you in teaching your bird new words and phrases through repetition. Simply record your message and press Play - the recording will play back your words, phrases, or brief songs (up to 10 seconds long) in one of two repetition modes. Messages can be different for either of the two modes and can be recorded over repeatedly. Mode A will play your recorded message 12 times, then stop. It will repeat your message 12 times, every 15 minutes, until Mimic Me is switched off. Mode B will play your recorded message 12 times, then stop. It will repeat your message 12 times, every 10 minutes, for two hours. This product has been designed to be a professional tool to enhance the learning experience of your bird, please note this is not a toy. Do not place Prevue Pet Products Mimic Me Voice-Recording Unit inside of your bird's enclosure or leave it where your bird can get at it. This is a training device. Three AAA batteries are included.
